There is no point in arguing that alcohol does make you look ‘cool’, however much your defenses would trick you into not believing that. More than half of people who drink alcohol do it because it’d make them look cool.

Yes I agree. That is the wrong way to view it. Alcohol does not necessarily make someone cool or better. People must not be pressurized into it to elevate their status.
