The lgbtq community is not that great at all. I don’t know about ya’ll, but I don’t really like when gay men think they can comment on my body just because they’re gay. I hate it so much! they are just as bad as any other man. I once was just talking with a group of people and two gay men were in the conversation and one point out my arm hair and says “girl you gotta shave” and the other one backs him up saying “yeah… aren’t girl supposed to shave…” I don’t want to be part of the lgbtq community if we have people like that.
There are shitty people in every group. Sorry that happened to you. Some of us are really nice tho
I can relate. Lots of people are nice, but sometimes they make assumptions that are just completely wrong. I’m a transman and I’ve had other transpeople comment on the amount of hair I had on my legs before T and others on where on my body hair would grow because of hormones and shit. It makes me feel bad, because I don’t want to tell them off. They’re my friends and are probably just wanting to share their experience or trying to get info about something they might be going to go through in the future.
Sometimes I’m really happy being part of a community, but there are certain parts I rather not have
