Okay so i have this empty feeling inside me which makes me feel terrible. Im currently in 12th and only 35 days are left for board exams. I’m not able to study at all. When i sit to study after 30 mins or 1 hour i just dont feel like studying anymore. I feel like crying everytime. Even if i dont have any reason to, i just couldn’t hold back my tears.
One of my friend told me to take a day off and relax for a day. I did it, i spent that day sleeping and eating and later that night i again cried cause i regretted that i wasted my day cause only few days are left for boards.
My sister she’s studying psychology and she’s 2 years older than me. I told her that idk why i always start crying without any reason and she told me that she knows one therapist and she would take me to her. But she forgot
I almost told her 3 to 4 times about how i feel but she didnt do anything for me as she’s always busy with her boyfriend.
I feel so alone at night because i dont have anyone to talk to, when my sister was single we would talk every night but now after dinner i just go to my room and try to sleep.
Im frustrated now and i dont know what to do.

That’s alright just try studying at night
I am also in 12th and I am scared too.
I guess everyone was in this situation so just take a deep breath and start studying and takes some breaks
It’s okay if it’s hard to focus but u can do it. JUST TRY😄
I AM ALSO IN THE SAME SITUATION
but we will get over it
Make some online friends who are like night persons and u will be having company too while studying 😄

It really hurts when people leave…especially when you needed them the most…I understand. If you can’t really pin point any particular reason as to why you’re feeling so low I suggest writing all the things you feel in a dairy or even just a piece of paper. Jot all the points that are bothering you and deal with them step by step. Also remember that exams are important but not on the expense of your well being. You can’t concentrate if you have other things on your mind. Take a day or two to fully comprehend your dilemma, work on it, talk to your friends or family about it if you want or just share on this platform. We all are here for you, you’re not alone ❤

I think your frustration and stress is before of the tension you are taking because of the days left for your boards. This pandemic made everyone frustrated and depressed about their studies. Even I cannot focus on my studies after a certain time. I totally can relate to your condition and I am an alone child,think about the difficulties I face because I cannot share this with my parents they will think I am making up things. I think you should think less about the exam and prepare your mind to study also take help from your friends and parents since your sister is not bothered about you,your parents are your only hope. Hey you must try Pomodoro Technique…

(Don’t waste your time by taking a day off coz you have a limited time left instead spend your time in studying and I don’t think that you really need a therapist. [it’s your decision if you want to, you can] -

you feel like crying bcoz you haven’t completed your studies/syllabus + indirectly increase in stress level.

Always remember “Where there is Effect There is a Cause” - so what I want to tell is, you Feel like Crying because there is a reason for that. {though you think there’s no reason but the fear, stress, anxiety, etc are sitting in your Unconscious Mind - So Consciously you may think there’s no reason but believe me There is…

for eg - You are saying that there are no bacteria in water by just looking at it with naked eyes, so tum dekh nahi paa rahi iska matlab yeh nahi ki bacteria nahi hai paani me … - relate it with your situation }
And Don’t worry it’s common in many students out there, most of us can stay focused on a task for 20 to 30 minutes max. after that we get exhausted or distracted or start wandering on social media & after that we realise what Happened !! I wasted so much time and haven’t studied anything 😨😰😭…
and yup I’m also a student of Psychology and believe me this Pomodoro Technique really works Just give it a try)
and ya don’t be angry on your sister - currently she is in her own world 😅…
So your problem (feeling like crying) will reduce as you become more confident about your studies…
So to solve this crying problem you need to study - it’s that simple - and to study without getting bored follow this technique :-

So about Pomodoro Technique -

1. Set a timer for 25 minutes and Start Studying.

2. After the timer goes off, Take a 5 minute break.
(do something that’s not related to your study)

3. Repeat this cycle 3 more times.

4. After the 4th cycle, take a 30 minute break.
(A 30 minute long break is must after 4th cycle of 25 minutes study - during this
30 minutes do whatever you want but must be not related to your studies…)

then after step 4 - start from step 1 again…

[Before starting put your mobile on Do Not Disturb Mode or Turn Off the Notifications…]
