My ex left me because he said I argued too much. I would bring up how he commented about my weight and also how he constantly stared at lingerie models. He left me abruptly and took the engagement back after 3 years of being together. How do I get over this?

Thank you for your insight. I can honestly say that you are right and I couldn't imagine doing someone like this after 3 years. I had the ring for a whole year before he took it back claiming that there was no need for him to keep paying on something that wasn't going to be used in marriage. I was devastated.

Thank you and I am doing my best to stay strong. After I gave him everything back including the ring he tried to text and tell me how much of a good person that I was and asked me not to be able or to have ill will against each other. I never responded 

I totally agree. He claimed that he would always love me but I know love wouldn't hurt me like that. When he broke up with me he immediately changed his status from engaged to single and wanted the ring back and told me to get it through my head that it was over. So it's crazy for him to get the ring back and everything else and text me and ask for us not to have ill will against each other and for me not to be mad

That is so true. One last question. Why would he care if I was mad at him or not when he clearly left me heartbroken?

That's horrible. I feel like the whole relationship was a lie on his part. I sent cards to all of his family thanking them for welcoming me into their family and for being so kind to me. I just don't understand how a person could do this to anyone. My heart hurts from this he has no idea how much this hurt me.

3am Thoughts

I am freaking out.
I could probably marry the guy i love but for that i need to fulfill  certain targets regarding my health and finances.
Although the demand is from the guy but he only wants my growth that’s an assurance.
The only security he is gathering from these goals is that he can represent us infront of his family as a power couple.
Since there is caste issue and many more family issues involved if we gets married.
I am really freaking out because according to him if we cannot fulfill such goals before marriage as a couple and as a team we won’t be able to keep up throughout the marriage as it is going to be tough because of his family no matter what.

I am freaking out that what if I couldn’t fulfill those goals, I really wanna marry this person as he is one of the best in all the perspective.
And he is very clear that no goals no marriage as he is kinda straight forward and crystal clear person for his decisions.

so i am in LDR with my bf in the state. he's originally from India. in his family tradition, arrange marriage is still up there. at first, he told me my family will let me choose my partner. but after we been together for almost 4 years, his parents suddenly bring up about arrange marriage stuff. in his case, his parents match him with his younger cousin_-. he denied that but his parents kept telling him it's our tradition and we will keep some asset too by that marriage. 
what should i do now?

I love with one guy we are from different country and different religions. Basically long distance. Our relationship was so good till the lockdown. We not able see each other last 2 years. We are in physical relationship he convinces me he promise me he won’t leave me at any cost. Our relationship was okay till last years oct he started to avoid me. He not reply my message or answer my call. One day I managed to talk with me and he confess many things with me that he have slept with one Aunty and have some affair with others girl.
