As toxic as it sounds society has significantly changed with such orthodox perspectives. A lot more is being done to negate this. Its always okay to cry! It won’t make you any less of your gender. Everything coming out of cinema is not perfect and try and consume it with a pinch of salt. Rest you are the best judge.

Let me put it differently: how many of your male friends you seen crying compared to female? Once I was asked by a female friend if I could ever not stop crying in public. I answered with particular situation. Upon which all people around looked at me strangely. So it’s a still a long way to go.
