I’ve spent the last few years of my life with imposter syndrome and I can’t keep living like this. It’s like everything I do is not enough and I keep trying to reach for something that’s I’ll never get. I feel like a wave took me under and I can’t teach the surface to catch a breath.

Did you talk to any doctor?
It’s really important to discuss it with one, so they can help you. While you might wait for the appointment to come, try writing down rules for yourself and then try to be satisfied with it. Visualize things the way you are doing them. And write down your efforts and successes that you achieved because of you!

Dear Indylnn,
Stay away from the radio. I do not have imposter syndrome, but I know what it is and how it may affect/effect you (I have no idea which one it is, affect or effect). The radio, usually, talks about people’s accomplishments and how they have a great new partner and BLAH! That may be bringing you down a little more than if you didn’t listen to it.
This is just an idea.
Best of luck!
