I am a tutor and one of my middle schooler students is dyslexic but his parents aren’t ready to accept it. They think I don’t talk sense when I say something like - “Your child needs special care that I am not trained to provide.” The kid is suffering because of the rigidity of his parents. They wouldn’t even let me talk to his school teacher and I am unable to convince them otherwise
