So i'm a professional tennis player and have been playing since i was 5 and now i'm 19, 'm a 2 time gold medalist is the nationals and a bronze medalist in the SGFI Asian games. My dad has been my coach since i was 7, and i am so grateful cause if it wasn't for him i would have never reached so many milestones. But the thing is he never ever says anything good he is always criticizing never once said he's proud of me,never says i do a good job and if a ask he says he's just making me stronger. We don't have a daughter father relationship, we have a coach student relationship and it hurts so much. I have also sacrificed so much never went out it was always tennis tennis tennis i love the sport don't get me wrong it's just i would like to have a dad rather than having a coach all the time. I can't have a proper convo with him without it turning into a fight and without it being something tennis related. I get so jealous when i see my friends hanging out with their dads . 
Sometimes all i need is my dad not a coach.

3am Thoughts

My biggest distraction is yourube. Food videos. Shorts. I love it. But it takes ways so much of my study time. Please help. I have zero moderation skills 

The 'New normal'- everything in online. I got used to it. Then, it settled down, so I had to switch to the old normal. I went to lectures and studied. So, I became accustomed to the same old feeling. I got friends. We studied together. But, now again we have to go to online. Finally I was able to study in the way I love, the way I was used to. Now, I have to go home again, and study in that cube. No walks in the park, No classes in offline, No sharing chocolates without the lecturers knowing. Now it's gonna be my laptop, my room, that's it. I am really stressed out. I can't with this. 🥺

Overthinking

Before she knew that I was sexually abused by my father, my mother always thought I was a disrespectful child until the age of 16. She always said  would have bad luck because I disrespected her. 

I'm twenty-seven, and don't really believe in God nor his Commandments especially "honor thy mother thy father."  This is because I feel like my parents disrespected me one and that my father abused me and my mother telling me things that made me feel terrible about myself but in retrospect he's only said those things because she thought I was disrespectful.

However I still believe that thought haunts me lot and that is. I will have bad luck for the rest of my life because I feel like I do have bad luck and I always get angry at my mom and we fight a lot I do love her, but Im just hurt.

Every time I'm angry I'd blame her for a lot of things are not her fault also because she said those things and it's affected me. And I feel guilty all the time.

So is it a self-fulfilling prophecy that I have bad luck or is it true that because of disrespecting my mother I have bad luck?
