So, I’m going through a process. Working through some really hard, complex feelings. My world was flipped upside down over a year and a half ago, and I’m just starting to get my balance. I’ve gone through denial, grief, rationalizing, and mostly, trying to put it out of my mind. But I have those moments when I’m in my head and in my heart, and I start feeling my feelings. I have a really hard time talking to anyone about it, because when I talk about big feelings, I just turn into a blubbering mess, and my thoughts don’t come out coherent. I do have a lot of supportive people in my life, but like I said, it’s hard to talk out loud. So, I started a private journal app. It has really helped me spill out my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I’m even surprised by what I’ve written. I figured that an anonymous sounding board was the next best step. So, thank you, for being part of this community. I hope my story might resonate with others and help them. And I hope to support and help others with theirs.
