So I liked this guy since 3 years and I couldn’t confess but 3 months ago i finally confessed my feelings and I got to know that he also liked me, so we started seeing each other and it was going pretty well. Before him I was in a long term relationship of 7 years which he knew of. So one day we were just sitting and he came with the topic of my ex and suddenly said that he can’t do it with me anymore because he wishes that his partner should be pure as he didn’t date anyone before me so he should also be the first one his partner will date. o he told me he wants to break up just because I was with someone else 3 years ago. I feel so unwanted, he said things that really have hurt me, my self esteem is just ruined. I’ve been crying since that day and I’m trying to call and text him and he’s not replying any of my calls. My health is also being affected. I really thought he will be the one for me. I don’t know where I went wrong. Just because I was with someone for long term that means now I can’t be with someone for my whole life? I really miss him. What should I do please help. I feel like I’m dying.

Hey! It’s okay to cry. But you should try and look at the fact that he said he wanted to date someone who was never in a relationship and he already knew about it while getting into a relationship. Basically it’s just toxic don’t you think?
Please try to forget him. You’ll get a guy who won’t be affected by the fact that you had a relationship before.
If you somehow convince this guy and get back with him I feel that it won’t be a good relation.
I just want you to see the facts and decide what’s good for you and your mental health.

I don’t think you should call him. Just look at the red flags behen. He knew you were in a relationship in the past but still came in to a relationship with you and later broke up for the reason that you were in a relationship in the past. Like what?
