I’m having anxiety issues, specially trying to manage my emotions… any suggestions on how it helps…how to feel gratitude in life and thankful for what I have in life.

I know it sounds stupid but try to look at people’s lives which are much more miserable than yours. You’ll feel like okay my life isn’t even that bad. It could have been worse. Then you’ll start being grateful

But isnt that kind of sadistic ? Deriving gratitude from other people’s misery? I want to be thankful for what I have . Contentment and the fact that I am enough, I don’t need materialistic things to complete me…

I said it in the beginning only that it sounds stupid but it always works for me. So thought of sharing. There might be some other ways too but it’s the only that I know

Please try to out of your confort zone like away from your family for sometimes you may realise value of each thing and trust me your life will become meaningful

1. Making a list of things you’re thankful for. Thinking about how you achieved them or think about the people who did it for you and made your life easier.
2. Take baby steps towards the things you wanna achieve and set your goals from small.
3. Go out in nature or take walks and exercise for atleast 30-50mins
4. Try some breathing exercises
5. Treat yourself with food you love eating every once in a while.
6. If you’re overthinking, try finding the root cause or the root thought which causes it and work on that cause.

I want to stick to something internal so happy that I always feel grateful no matter what anyone else has. I want to feel in other’s happiness.

Gratitude is about, when you feel complete in yourself but you don’t look for a reason why.
Focus on the good around, the clean air,food and be a part of ‘this moment’. Not past,not future.
