I think I am losing my mind this days. I feel like a sudden burden is pulling me down heavily and there is always this constant nagging feeling in my chest. Even my friends noticed the change in how I used to stay and has been asking me what is wrong with me.
I want to know about whatā€™s happening with me. Thoughts of committing suicide comes and goes. I find my life meaningless. I am scared. I am stressed out.
If any of you are a therapist, I would be happy to consult with you and find out whatā€™s wrong with me.

Iā€™m no therapist, just a kid with a shit load of problems, but it sounds to me like you have depression. I can give you some tips for things if youā€™d like but Iā€™m not sure how much I can help. Just hang in there, and know you are strong enough to handle this <3

It would be of great help. This past few days has been eating me up alive. And with my exam coming up, I am quite nervous.

Ok, Iā€™m not sure how much these will work, but it helps me so hopefully itā€™ll help you!

1) with your exam, know 2 things; your results on a test are not a result of who you are, there is so much more to you than a number, and just do your best. Your best changes from day to day and thatā€™s OK :)

2) itā€™s OK to be scared, fear is an important part of life, because it helps keep us alive, itā€™s fight or flight mechanism (but when youā€™re scared too much pointlessly thatā€™s anxiety and itā€™s bad, itā€™s confusing)

3) try to take an hour or 2 to do nothing each day. You wanna watch TV? Spend an hour doing it. Exercise? Neat, out on some music and dance! Hide in your bed or play with your pet? Do it. Spend some time each day on what makes you happy, even if itā€™s silly :)

4) try to find something that motivates you. For me, itā€™s revolution. I want to die fighting for something important to me, and when I think about killing myself, I remember that fighterā€™s spirit and keep going so I can have a chance at change. If there is something you really want to do, remember it, and make it a reason to keep living.

5) remember there are people out there who love you. I know everyone says this and you may not believe me. But people do you love you, you heart just may not be able to feel it right now.

6) If youā€™re depressed, maybe see a doctor or a therapist, they can help you with medicine because itā€™s just a chemical imbalance in your brain or help with something emotional and they are much more wise than me! See several to make sure you get the right advice.

7) write down quotes. If you hear something that you like, write it down. I have a list on quotes on my phone, and whenever I need help, itā€™s like my favourite characters are helping me out, and I find what I might need

8) when youā€™re studying, write down your notes and make them pretty. itā€™ll make you feel better, and youā€™ll look at it more. And write it down in the language of your brain, whatever makes sense to you. Write it as if you are teaching yourself, itā€™ll help you understand more and write how you feel about it if you want, put jokes in it, that helps me when Iā€™m cramming for a test! Listen to music by Two Steps From Hell. The sound is inspiring, and there are no lyrics to distract. (these are my favourites and videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2RK6OGNMCY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ilx_3islIk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYKUeZQbMF0

9) write a diary. This is your best friend. You can tell it anything, everything. Say all the good parts and the bad parts of the day, an epiphany you had, gossip you heard, anything. I had nobody for years, and my diary got me through it. Also books, find characters you relate to.

10) talk with your friends about how youā€™re feeling. Or even just tell them you need someone at the moment. Hang out with them. Go to a park or something in an open space, itā€™s safer with COVID.

11) be kind to yourself. Treat yourself like you are your best friend. Feeling down? Watch a comfort film. Tired? Go to bed early. Feel like crap? Have a bubble bath with a happy or soothing playlist (donā€™t fall asleep in the bath though!)

12) keep one room clean. This is a tough one, when Iā€™m super depressed itā€™s hard to move, but even if you just dump everything in one room into another, have one room clean. And decorate it. Put in fairy lights, your favourite photos, have a happy playlist to play in there, paint the walls, heck, write your quotes on them! Make it you, as much you as you can remember, because I know you probably feel like youā€™ve lost yourself. Put your favourite books in there. A TV. Yoga mat. Fun stuff!

13) if youā€™re feeling stressed or anxious: yell. Scream. Preferably in a big empty space where no one will hear or into a pillow. Wear an hair elastic on your wrist (I always wear one) and fidget with it when you need to. Run, put on your shoes and run as fast and as far as you can, get a taxi home if you need. Stretch, or do some Just Dance. I like to do these ones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yw4jVjO64BU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByqFY-Boq5Y

14) start a happiness fund. Put away whatever money you can, and whenever you need to, use it. Buy a nice smelling candle, comfy T shirt, yummy pizza, a book, tickets to a movie. This is for random spontanious happiness!

Sorry this is so long! If you wan more help or want me to summarise, just let me know! :)
