I just broke someone’s heart…and i feel so bad about it. I do like that person a little. I can literally talk to him all day…but i don’t feel as in the same way as he do. And obviously i am not prepared for something serious right now. My past relationships were so bad…every guy cheated on me or left me for other girls. I do have alot of trust issues. And well adding up to that I went on a date 5 days ago and i told that person( the one who likes me right now ) that don’t expect anything serious from my side. Now he just started crying it’s not been even 20 days since we are talking and he already likes me like how TF someone’ can want something serious in this short time. Idk what to do i am really confused and feel so bad for him.

It’s natural to feel bad after hurting someone’s feelings if you’re a good person I guess so don’t overthink it. Your first priority is you,your mental health and even if you do say yes to the guy out of guilt you’d be hurting him and yourself even more. So just try to relax and stop overthinking it. It’s okay him to have feelings for you and nothing is wrong if you can’t reciprocate it. It certainly break his heart but its not intentional. It’s good that you told him not to expect him anything. Don’t be hard on yourself. It’s okay things happen.
