I get hurt by my friends words very easily…i always try to forget about the bad things they say but i couldn’t…i don’t have many friends so i don’t want to lose them…sometimes it makes me angry and annoyed…but i didn’t want to hurt their sentiments by saying more hurtful things to them…how do i stop affecting myself from hurtful things they say?

expecting more from them than they can give you is what makes you sad about the outcome of their actions and words. if it’s hurting you, you need to talk to them about it and sort things out. the fearing of hurting someone should never come before the fact that you are getting hurt by them. prioritize yourself and don’t let the fear of loosing them get in the way of you making things right with them.

First of all, think about the things you have done for them. then think about the times you have done things yourself. You can’t let them stab you just because you love the person holding the knife. Make sure your friends know that you don’t like things they say atleast they won’t say it when you are around.
