I am pretty sure that I am bisexual, and idgaf about what people think about me, idc, i always supported the lgbt community, even when i did not figure out i was a part of it, i was a strong ally, and was very vocal about lgbtq rights in India (which are none btw). But, i just wanna come out to my mom, cause as much i as i know, i donβt think she is homophobic, she ecen webt to watch a film with me, based on a gay relationship (Shubh mangal zyada saavdhan) and by the reaction of it, i donβt thibk she is homophobic , idk there is just something inside me telling me that she wonβt be too happy about the fact that i like both girls and boys. ( Honestly i donβt think she knows liking both the genders is possible) I have a pride flag drawn in my room, it is not just a pride flag, it has some lyrics written on it ( the lyrics are also super gay btw, βEnd of the dayβ by βOne Directionβ) i donβt think my mom knows it is a oride flag, i also have 2 pictures of harry and louis holding a pride flag in my room, i donβt think she knows what that is either, but i really wanna come out to her. Iβm 14 btw, i know, i know, i am too young, but i am sure iβm bisexual, and idk when to tell her, should i wait till i turn sixteen, i will go outside the city to study afyer 12th when iβm seventeen, or should i wait till 18, or shiukd i wait till i complete college, or should i wait till i get a stable job, or should i just tell her, idk iβm confused.
Also,
THE PROBLEM IS HOMOPHOBIA, NOT HOMOSEXUALITY!!!

Love to know that you are so mature at such young age. Yeah I think you should wait a little, try giving her little hints maybe. Educate her about LGBTQ and what is that about maybe then sheβll understand you better. Our generation understands and supports each other because some of us are aware how beautiful love is, but they are different.
I hope this helped :)
Stay beautiful as you are

Hey, thankyou so much, yiuβre really sweet, and yeah, i have tried to educate her about this stuff, and iβm sure it is helpingmβ¦thanks.ππ

Heyy,
Being a fellow queer person, Iβd like to share a bit of my storyβ¦
I have an elder sibling, who is pretty mature and has a job, has studied in the UK, so I expected him to be pretty chill about everything but turns out, he is more homophobic than my mother
I was forced to come out to them when they read my chats with my (now ex) girlfriend and they had some phases of different reactions, ranging from telling me to k*ll myself and then telling me that I have to choose what is βnatural for everyoneβ
I came out to them when i was 16 and now Iβm 18 , but not much has changedβ¦
Iβd say try giving hints, or talking to them
Ask them what their thoughts and opinions are on the community
If theyβre negative, then Iβd suggest not coming out right now
If theyβre positive, THEN GO TELL THEM!!! youβd be super lucky to have a family thatβs supportive <3
I hope for the best, let us know whatever happens
Take care,
cheers.
@istry1009, am so sorry that you had to go through all that.
And am so proud of you for being still strong and confident about yourself.
Yes bro, be that way.
Your sexuality doesnt define who you are. You are lot more than just that.
And ignore them people who are too narrow minded and ainβt at your level of understanding.
You gotta live your life, not them.
So do what you wanna do with your life. And even though we are complete strangers, just know i support you. Sending you loveβ€οΈ.
V @istry1009
Thanks a lot, really means a lot to me
Support from others is what has gotten me to this age tbh
Sending you love back π€
hey my only advice would be to get financial stable, incase worst case scenario your parents donβt accept you. But Iβm so proud of you. Also with with me I have so many rainbow drawings and Larry pictures in my room Iβm surprised my mom hasnβt figured it out already.
PS. seeing all the blue green hearts Iβm guessing you are a larrie too, am I right?
Diana @28princesspark
Yes!!! Iβm a larrie tooo!!! Yayyyy i met a larrieβ¦hahaβ¦me tooβ¦i my room is filled with rainbows and there are even 0ictures of hsrry and louis with a pride flagβ¦idk why she hasnβt figured it outβ¦lol
omg you have no idea how happy it it makes me to not only meet a directioner but also a larrie on here. Anygays I wish you all the very best with whatever happens and let me know if you want to connect on social media I would love to talk more
No matter how much you feel compelled to just spurt it outβ¦ donβt do it! Youβre still young and have a couple of more years to go until you go into college and possibly move outβ¦
However, if you are confident your mum will accept you, go do itβ¦
Also, this whole fiasco around βcoming-outβ is over-ratedβ¦ donβt buy itβ¦
