Hi all
After reading Robert Greene’s Mastery, I spent a lot of effort over months to define my life’s materialistic purpose. And I have laid out a high level plan till the age of 75 (provided if I’m alive) . I know what I want to accomplish professionally, personally, financially and my bucket lists.
I also spend time on Sun early mornings to assess where I stand. Apart from this my schedule is fluid and flexible. I tend to go with the flow
Question: Whenever I try to speak to any of my friends or colleagues or relatives about this, they become uncomfortable. Maybe because I have it all figured out. Is there anyone else here who is ‘alone’ in this aspect like me ?

I discovered my life’s purpose based on my MBTI personality. You can google it. Then understood the Japanese concept of Ikigai to have 4 different things Profession, Passion, Mission and Vocation. Family, Employment etc. revolve around all of this. Life is very long in years. It takes lot of time to decide on detailed plan

I feel exactly like this. But my implementation is still in progress. Plus I go find like-minded people so that helps this issue

Yes, It takes a lot of time and effort to get the momentum going
So if I may ask, what is it you wish to do in the long term?

I want to be a Professor Emeritus from age of 60 to 75 (provided if I’m alive haha). If that profession doesn’t work out, I’ll do Organic farming or become a tailor in those years.
BTW, this is not a rigid plan. But more like a guidance. If it doesn’t work out I’ll always do course corrections
What have you planned on the long term ?

Be involved in advancement and innovation even in the smallest way possible.
