Hey. I’m a 17 year old and I want to start working in a tiny shop for the summer. Is it a good idea or should I give it up? It’s not like I need desperately money. I just want to feel productive not lay all day in bed for the rest do the summer
You’re not alone. I’m also thinking of the same thing. That’s a very great idea. You won’t be bored and you’re earning at the same time. It’s a win-win situation. Doing nothing and being bored most of the time is not a very good activity.
But I still don’t want to ignore the fact that I’m a kid. I’m afraid that it might cause me stress or make me lose friend connections. I will probably work for the rest of my life. Is it worth it to start early?
If you don’t think of that summer job as fun then don’t do it. That will only constrain you and make your summer shitty. Find other activities that you can make with your friends that way you won’t be bored at home. But if you think of that the summer job you will be doing is a fun activity and not consider it as work that will be good too.

If you really want to do something so make plan for a business or try to develop an idea which will resolve a public pain or channelised customers requirement.
And once it done then participate in multiple startup competition at national and international level.
