hey everyone, actually had a positive day today. i didn’t cry which is progress, i received an essay back from English. i got 27/30, so i am glad that some hard work is paying off. i am finding that writing what happens in my day, makes me happy. also, an old friend popped up to last night and we talked for hours. it was so nice to reconnect and talk about our lives. i used to be in a toxic friendship group with her in secondary school, i decided to leave in yr11 and now we go to different schools. she has a lot going on in her life and it made me realise that no one is perfect and we all have our good and bad days. some people are just really good at not showing what is happening. i am definitely going to be using this much more often :)

You’re right about the friendship part as well, some old friends can take you down memory lane and make you feel so good. You end up realising that with some people, things never change and that the bond with them is always there!
