Having an online presence is really crucial in the 21st century, especially if you want to stay woke. But prolonged exposure to negative news and unrealistic lofty standards of perfection can mess you up. I do an internet detox. Where I delete all my social media apps and read the newspaper instead of steaming it or reading it on a screen. People who need to reach me can call me during this 2 week period and if not, tough. Ideally I don’t have any pressing correspondence coming through during this period of time and it works wonderfully.
