Girls today often have an entitled mentality. Popular social media apps have boosted the egos of girls like at no other time in history. A girl may get hundreds or even thousands of likes, thus giving her false validation, attention and hope. The reality is that men swipe on everything.
Combine that with toxic Indian serials/soaps, where there’s drama every 2 minutes; and it’s not surprising to see how quickly marriages and relationships end.
The side effects of this entitlement and toxicity show up as:
1. Being late for previously decided on calls/video calls/dates
2. A sense that everything needs to be romantic in a relationship all of the time
3. Being rude or insensitive
The solution?
1. If you notice people showing these behaviours repeatedly (over months or years), do NOT engage with them.
2. Stop engaging with dating apps entirely.
3. Stop watching toxic serials and the news.
4. Meet and greet people in the ‘real’ world.
P.S.: This applies to guys as well, but to a much smaller degree.
