Dear Val,

Starting a fandom was just a you and me thing. Remember when it was just you and me? Sending posts and GIFs and pictures about the fandom back and forth? Remember when I was THE person you'd send anything related to that? Remember when you felt lost and confused and beaten up, I was there? When you felt uncomfortable in your own friend group, I was there to include you with me? Remember those times when we use to hide away in the library and talk about our favorite show and anything and everything? Remember when you offered to match icons in tumblr? Remember when we'd talk until it was late night/early next morning? When you needed me, I was there. When you texted me, I answered you as soon as possible. When me sending you tik tok videos about something made both of us talk about that thing for hours. I was your safe heaven when you were at your lowest, but what about when I was at my lowest? You forgot me the moment you found someone else, now he is your go to person, and it kills me to look at that and be okay with it, just so that I dont seem like a selfish person to you.  I see you getting closer to him and I wonder, was I just a holder? A place holder for someone better? But no matter what happens, you'll always have a place in my heart, and I'd do all the things that we did previously when we were close, in a heartbeat, cause I'm a fool when it comes to you. Being friends with you is something that I expected, but falling in love with you? It's something very surprising to me and its as sacred as anything worthy in my life. So, thats why I'm feeling like this huh? It's not because you're replacing me as a friend but it's me slowly falling in love with you when you're already so far away...... I just hope you have a great life regardless if I'm in it or not.
