Anxious. I feel very anxious. I am determined and a very consistent girl. Yet I am the person who jumps into another relationship as soon as one ends. I need validation from boys and want them to love me. I don’t knkw I was not like this. I found this perfect guy who’s not ready for commitments. I want to move on yet I get stuck on the same chapter everyday. I have a future to make, a career to create yet I waste my time thinking about him. I’m no teenager, I’m 21yo. Still. I hate this thing which has gotten into me. Needing love from people. I want to be the person who loves herself very much and doesn’t need anyone. Even I was that person but now it’s just I need someone, I need someone. I think a very bad negative energy is inside me. This force always tells me to do wrong things and focus on wrong things. I realize it’s inside me and I want to get rid of it. But how. I’m tired. I’m very very tired. Tired of validation and no self love. This makes me overthink a lot and yes anxious too. Please help me. Please.

Hey hey, calm down. You might be having habits of other people’s opinions. You might be forgetting or doubting your own opinions and that’s the reason why you want other to be a part of your life. Just believe in yourself, yes you have a future but don’t be dependent on others. Talk to yourself whenever you can in front of the mirror. Talk to your brain and tell it that you need to stop and focus on your career. See everyone needs love from others but sometimes they forget that they need love from their inner self as well. It’s you who know yourself better, not your parents, not the boys you have dated nor your friends, it’s you. Start taking decisions on your own, start taking major steps on your own, be independent. Start questioning other people’s opinions. Question yourself on little things, ask yourself to be more confident, go on solo trips to some other city or village. Doing everything solo helps you to know yourself.

I’m trying all the things needed for self love. I go out. I treat myself. I enjoy. Yet I want that guy. Whenever I study I focus on what he’s doing or anything. We talk every night. Hey @user why am I like this. Why i just stop giving shit about people. I need to get over this. I need to get over him. I need more self love. Can you help me with some ways where I can spend more time with myself or just be the β€œidgaf” person.

See you don’t want to talk to that guy then just write him a text, tell your problem and tell him to block you. Or else you block him from everywhere but don’t unblock it later. You can also try one thing, digital detox, just uninstall every social media app for a week and give time to yourself. Start meditating, start listening to podcasts, start treating yourself for small achievements. There was a moment in my life where I use to do the same for my ex girlfriend but now I have my complete focus to myself. I started travelling and going to the mountains, now I love mountains more than people. Start loving things that aren’t humans, start talking to pets, stray dogs, stray cats they are great listeners. Do this at least for a week you will see some changes in you.
