Am I wrong to feel angry because my cousin got the same color dress as me? It’s my quince and I wanted to feel special and be the only one to wear lilac but my cousin apparently didn’t find any silver dresses to wear and got a lilac one. She has a pretty good figure so any dress in any color would look good on her, but she chose a lilac dress. I already don’t like her much because she interrupts me whenever I talk to my mom, but this made me like her even less.
No you’re not wrong. I get what you’re feeling. One of my cousins always had to copy what i did. Idk if she did it knowingly or unknowingly. But it got on my nerves. It was like i didn’t have individuality.
You have every right to be upset. I’m assuming the dress colours were already decided so her changing it last minute isn’t the best on her part.
That being said, what’s done is done. If you’re ending up wearing a similar dress, try doing your hair different or accessorise better, find the good in a not so great situation

Look I can completely understand with me being half Mexican, your quince only comes once a lifetime. But you must remember it’s also a time to be thankful, so even if your cousin does want to copy your dress take it as a compliment that she thinks you make a good choice. Todo va a estar bien <3
