Your education doesn’t define you. As responsible good Asians, we are asked and expected to excel academically. Being besties with academia may be fulfilling and rewarding for some people but that doesn’t mean it is for you. It is completely normal to be confused and to wander a while even after graduating, or while you’re in your undergrad or postgrad program. Because the whole point of uni is to make you an independent thinker. More often than not the decisions made by the 18 year old you, won’t bode well with the 20 something years old you. Take an indefinite amount of time to step back and analyse your choices. You’re never too old to change. We grow older, we learn new things as we grow older. Wisdom allows you to make more informed choices. So rethink, grow and restart if that’s what you think is right for you.

This needs to go viral! It’s so important to understand that eventually everything falls in place and it’s never too late to do something that makes you happy.
