Anxiety is not only a mental affliction that people struggle with on a personal level, it is also an acquired thing at times. This is why having strong emotional personal boundaries and disengagement from difficult personalities is important. You are not everybodys saviour. You do not have to understand each person and their reasoning. That is not your job. The first priority is your wellness.
