Why is it so hard to be a single woman at 27? Why does society care so much? Why do I need to have the same argument with 200 social contacts? Does it ever stop?

So I have been single for like my whole school life and now college life too. It seems like time is just passing by and to be frank am to scared to be in a relationship too cause of a bad incident but now I just want someone to be with me with someone(not out of desperation but cause I wanna feel loved too) but it seems like I just can't approach anyone.

it's been lonely this past month. i have two roommates who're dating but i am the only one who is single. and i can't find anyone, and infact im not sure if im ready for a new relationship. how i just wish i could find someone who gets it.

Other

Honestly I am happy with my current status. I am doing good at studies and family stuff and I don't really need a boyfriend or someone I can love.
But you know when I see my friends or other couples on social media or in person, I just ask myself a question, "Am I missing something!?".
I don't know the answer to it. Talking about guys, I am friends with really good guys and if I ever think of dating I think I have a large choice but it all narrows down to if I date someone I won't be able to give my best on other things(studies and family)
I just don't really know. 

Relationships

How many of you have been in a relationship??
I feel like left out ,I'm just studying and studying. I'm 26 now,studied to get pg.This yr I will join residency, would be again studying for 3 yrs. Then 2 yrs senior residency. Then again studying will be DM for 3yrs and bond for another 3 yrs. I feel like my all precious yrs of life are going in studying, not really enjoying my life.No relationships,only few friends.

3am Thoughts

I am 21 and i have never been in a relationship be it casual or serious. I am too confused sometimes i am like i am happy being alone but sometimes I feel like it'll be great to hold hands with someone, dance with someone, but again what if it doesn't work out. What if it gets toxic ? Is it better to be single 🤔?  There were a few girls who found me cute and wanted to talk but i walked away like i am bad at social interactions and i always have negative thoughts since I have seen so many friends of mine going through breakup 💔 i am like what if it doesn't work out. Shall I date or just get a job live in an apartment and just get dogs.

So I see couples around and I feel *I wish I had someone* but is this what happiness feels like?
Ofcourse after a bad breakup you tend to lose faith on relationship especially if your trust was broken but then again you have your hopes high to find that perfect one

But at the age of 23+ when maturity hits hard, you realise being single brings focus to yourself. You start focusing on your health, things you like to do or prefer. Responsibility lows down and somehow there's peace. It's just the loneliness that at times hits you hard and you tend to look out for one. Online dating is overrated and way to temporary especially when you are old school you don't fit in. So even if it's lonely out here but I'm still happy

I'm 23 and I'm still single. 
I have never been in intimate relationship. 
I thought I'm happy being single. But, hell no... 
Though I have a caring mother nd father, I feel empty most of the time. Also am craving for someone with whom I could speak for hours, hug, kiss and cuddle.

Hi. I'm turning 25 this year. I started my first job after my post grad last year. Corporate life is very frustrating and draining. I used to feel I cannot take it. I still do sometimes and wonder about alternate careers. But atleast now I'm getting more used to it. I have never been in a relationship before. And I have no girl in my life at all these days. All my friends are either dating or married or preparing to get married. At such a stage in life, I have tensions mounting and I feel I will never find a girl. I used to be hopeful in my college days and felt optimistic everytime I met a new girl. But everytime I asked anyone out, I only got rejection. As a result I just gave up on it entirely and started focussing only on my career and fitness. Now I've become so hopeless that I refuse if any friend of mine tries to set me up on a date with someone. I try tinder occasionally but I uninstall the app every time I get a match. Which is also very rare and online matchmaking only reduces my confidence further so I never use it. I get angry every time I see anything related to couples or romance in songs/movies or shows. I feel like I'll be alone all my life. I'm not someone who can confide in friends. I have spent my life only on my interests like art and fitness and never bonded too deeply with any friend. As a result, I feel I have no friend when I want to talk to someone. I believe I'll spend the rest of my life like this, entirely on my own. I don't know what to do.
