Why don't parents try to understand their children feeling why they always think whatever they are doing or saying is correct ...and some time they really say something very mean to there children because frustration

3am Thoughts

When your parents got into an accident and you had to come home for a week.
They think that they own the freaking world like right now you don't even know how to move your fucking body.
They gotta be serious. 
Father has been forcing me to go back like dude, I can't. I can't just leave my parents in hospital bed like that.

Parenting

Today i finally going back to my love but my parents are not allowing me they don't respect my decision they always want to control me for them my happiness doesn't matters all they want is to be Infront of them weather i like it or not i am tired of explaining them let me jst build myself i don't want to be dependent on anyone .

We're all fighting our own demons. Be kind. Costs less than nothing. 

Compassion

why do parents always find the need to insult their children? i'm sure that this does not only go for me but for others as well. do parents just not realize that their words actually take a toll on our self confidence as well as our feelings? why is it so hard for them to understand that we too are allowed to make mistakes and irrational decisions in life?

people always tell me that parents say these things to us because it's "tough love" or they just want us to become better people. in my case, i refuse to believe it as my parents' words and insults really do hurt me as if they never wanted me in the first place after all. saying that parents just want the best for us as an excuse for them hurting our feelings and sprouting out hurtful words is absolutely rubbish, as it is exactly the last thing i want to hear from other people. my parents always make me feel like the worst daughter they could have ever asked for. i've always tried to make them proud especially with my academics and extra-curricular activities but nothing ever seems to work for them. 

is this a normal feeling? or is it just me :( 

Family

I love my parents a lot but there are days when I feel like running away because I can't make them understand that some of their decisions are wrong and some of their perspectives about me are wrong. They just don't want to understand. It's so exasperating. 

How do I improve my relationship with my parents? They are not at all understanding . Always challenging me.There is a huge generation gap.I want to live and do a job away from my home just because of this.


Anxiety

Feeling urrrr!!! Why don’t parents understand to respect boundaries. WFH doesn’t mean we are available to them. Why is our work nothing and their work everything. How can someone respect such parent. Terribly immature they behave. No sense even after completing 60 years. Is this called as experience? Bullshit.
