Because we are afraid of rejection . Rejection = failure is hardwired into us and I’m no exception to this. Her giving you little attention would spark that chain of thoughts that’s maybe it’s possible for you two but trust me, it’s gonna be disappointing. She may mean the world to you but you won’t be hers and it’s something really difficult to come to terms with. Isliye lage raho , keep up the struggle of not talking to them online and offline. I’ve been doing this for few months and trust me it gets better when you just decide to move on, without hoping for closure or any other sort of expectation.
