Insecurity

How toxic relationships start is still a mystery to me. I mean what two people think "Oh that is the most toxic person I have ever seen in my life. I want them in my life immediately, preferrably as a romantic mate." I mean isn't it ridiculus, starting a toxic relationship when you know that you are bound to suffer being a part of it!! It is just straight up stupid. Moreover, if we were to still talk about it, what I feel about how toxic relationships start is a complicated thought. I feel how toxic relationships start is a fundamentally flawed question because no relationship is toxic from the moment it starts. They tend to become toxic over a period of time through projection and display of toxic traits and behaviour from either one person involved or another. How toxic relationships start just sounds way too simplistic to let it slide, because it has no set answer. 'How did two people become toxic?' or 'How did this relationship become toxic?' seem like the proper questions to ask. I mean, it is understandable that a common person wouldn't pay so much attention to detail, but shouldn't they? Isn't that the point of it all? So, I guess the proper answer to "how toxic relationships start" is that they do not start, they become toxic over time when two or more people in that relationship start behaving in a toxic manner. It is always the individuals who charecterize the relationship, not the other way round, at least in my opinion.

I'm feeling self pity.
My mom before some time said, behave like a girl, behave like a normal girl, don't behave in a too much childish way.
I don't know why she said that but yes I behave in a childish way, that's just the way I am. But now I'm questioning myself why am I the way I am.
She told me that some of our close relatives said her what will happen to your daughter she behaves like a 10y/o.
I'm 18, turning 19.
But I don't feel anything is wrong in behaving childish.
I'm very well aware of whatever I'm doing but I still choose to behave in a childish way, because growing up already has so much tension and work load in itself. Whats wrong if I choose to behave in that way and make myself happy?
Why do people still say that you should behave in a mature way.
I show maturity only where it's needed.
People have problems with you so many times.
But it becomes worse when your parents also support them and then they tell you to behave a certain way. My mom is not so supportive in this thing.
I am feeling self pity.
Please tell me how and what way should one behave!?
