It is our optimism in life that leads us to better ways. We humans are very optimistic in many ways. We set alarms to wake up the next day when we are not even sure if we will wake up the next day, or even better if we will go through the next hour alive, or even better if we will go through the next ten minutes alive, or even better if we will go through the next second alive. All it takes is optimism in life to make it better.

Hi guys, It's my first time using this platform but I felt I needed someone to talk about what I'm feeling...
Basically, I've liked this girl for over 4 years but unfortunately since I told him about my feelings (we were 13 years old), I was rejected... All the friends we had in common told me that it wasn't my fault but that it was that girl's personality, and I just didn't want to have any relationship with anyone... Before I told her about my feelings, we had a very friendly relationship, I made her laugh, I was there for her and I fell in love
Unfortunately, I screwed up when I told her about my feelings and she went on to ignore me (we were new as already diss
After 4 years, we are 17 years old, a lot has passed and we end up walking away, we do not see each other so often and etc... I thought time was going to heal, as everyone says... But that's not what happened. 
It turns out that every day I can't stop thinking about her, sometimes I dream about her, we still have many common friends who play with the situation and it made me think that now, more mature and older, I could have an opportunity to arrange our friendship and if possible, manage to conquer her (what a donkey I was). 
The first day I saw her, I told her I still felt the same way about her, nothing had changed, but unfortunately her answer was the same as before (this was 6 months ago
I went into depression, couldn't sleep, cried out of nowhere, felt anxiety, headaches. There was nothing that could make me happy
6 months later here I am, I'm much better than before, I began to entertain myself with several things to not think about it and was going very well (sometimes I saw stories from her instagram and was thinking), but fortunately or unfortunately, I felt something inexplicable ... It's like if there's a force inside me that pulls at her. 
I tried to figure out what it is that I didn't have, what i needed to get (since she literally said that I'm not good enough)... At this point I'm a bit fat and that's what it's like on my face, belly, legs and so on (I'm training as hardest as I can, I'm investing everything in me right now)... I think that's my problem, I fully believe that if I become attractive I can arouse interest on her part because:
Looks makes a girl attracted and personality makes her stay, but if you only have the personality you can't get her . 
I want to end with a question that will make all the difference in my life going forward:
Do you guys think that if I focus on myself from now on, becoming attractive (muscular, soft skin, take care of my hair, smell good and etc.) will make all the difference and give me a good opportunity to redeem myself from the past?
