Everything feels so short

Missing my ex today out of the blue. Everyone is getting married from my batch. He might be engaged by now. It has been two years since things ended between us and the relationship was toxic. I have been single since then because I was working on my attachment patterns and mental health so I don't end up with someone like him again. Plus I didn't put myself out there in the dating world really. Growing comfortable being on my own. 
But today I'm getting flashbacks of the good and bad times we went through. It's a bittersweet feeling.
I thought of talking about it to a friend but the dude is hated by everyone in my circle because of what happened between us. And people just change the topic and won't let me finish thinking I will be unable to handle these emotions. I just wanted to acknowledge and process this out of my mind. 
I hope our paths never cross Akshay. No hard feelings though. Thank you for the lessons. I owe my growth to your actions. I'm not being sarcastic here. You have inadvertently changed me from within for the better. Thank you very much. :)

Hopeless in life. 35 years old, shy, introvert, still not feeling confident to get married (committed), and same at work (career). Have lost interest and confidence in things but want to get back in life.
Please tell me how to live in this or change such mental stage.

Depression

So i am in medical college rn..
idk but i regret choosing it
i am in 2nd year..
and i am not earning a single rupee whereas my friends who chose engineering have started getting good amount...i feel so ashamed asking my parents for money..they don't even give me too much money..i always had an little interest in engineering but due to family pressure i chose this line..i hate it ..i can't mug up those hard words anymore..And i always wanted to do computer engineering..i used to love computer in 10th grade..
i can't do it anymore..
i am just wasting my 20's my age to enjoy....
i can't do anything..i always had a dream to go abroad but now nothing is possible
all my frnds are enjoying and i am here sitting with these heavy books..
what to do even if we become doctors..after all this hardwork we will be also beaten one day as these days doctors are blamed and beaten..
i hate it..i can't do anything...i don't have that patience mann..
and my college is also so bad..i hate it..
i have to sacrifice everything..my social life, my love life and everything..
i hatee itt...
