What’s your opinions about sex? I can imagine how it’s natural to think about it/want it, but I think most of the times the way we’ve been brought up makes us feel guilty for wanting it ? Especially Indian upbringing. I’m 20, I think about it, but I think In our society it’s unconventional to think/do it pre-marriage ? Tell me your thoughts about it

That’s how Indians are. Something as personal and enjoyable as sex is hard for parents to think that their kids would like to do one day as well. Your extended family just has their own views about it but they mostly want to have their little child to stay little for as long they can get them to. Honestly, I view sex as an act of love but this might just be my view but I am not going to have sex with anyone. Only the person I care about. The act of sex is showing how committed and how much I want my partner feel good about it. Because sex is rarely painful, just dangerous if you are not careful and are not ready for a family. Other than that, it’s a personal decision in my opinion.
Omg this answer makes sooooo much sense ! True… with hookup culture and everything, you sometimes feel even if sex means something to people anymore. Also, parents usually think tht one day the kid will start his own family and that’s when sex comes in. But I think sex is not just for reproducing, it’s for pleasure and love too

I think of it in the manner of my nephew
being the closest thing to understanding how
children are. I can’t really see him growing up
and having sex with a girl but in the back of
my mind, my logic knows that will happen.
It’s just something natural that we as older
people, don’t want to associate sexual things
with people we consider innocent or
precious. It’s just life.

You’re looking at choice of words rather than the intention. Yes there is a hook up culture but we’re talking about if the act of sex is ok to have. No one disputes the difference between having sex and making love. What we’re talking about is if it’s ok to want to have sex simply to enjoy ourselves.
