What would you do if you come to know that your parent is cheating on his/her partner? I mean of you find your mom cheating on your dad or vice versa? Talking is not a solution. It happens every time and no doors are opened! It's the same always!

If you are sure about the situation i think you should tell  the other parent about that....and see don't take any steps out of anger...just be calm..and say Everything to your dad ... Because he has the right to know Everything...

Parenting

Here's the case, I was supposed to be doing MBBS, but am doing B.Sc Biotechnology now. But even in this, I have excelled by landing a national internship and have published a paper, on the road to a 2nd one. I am aiming for a Masters's out of the country, which will be feasible and quite affordable. Now the issue is this lockdown, it's driving people crazy, especially for those who are already in a depression, like my father. We own a restaurant and it's open in the morning but he does not go, then he is home all day long doing nothing but playing on the phone. He is resting all day long on the bed, and orders us around because he can and then if we do one thing wrong he'll literally shout at us for a small mistake, which then makes my mom angry and even me because we think shouting for such a small mistake is not done. I plan to get out of this house as soon as I can, but I am worried about my mother and brother who will have to suffer him, which I feel is not right but then once i am independant, I can individually support my brother and mother, and this is what keeps me going on. The thing is my father has no sense of responsibility, does not care about the finances and only and only cares about his mother my grandmother, which spoils her rotten and then she orders us around. It's simple, my father who has a upper hand in the house is sick and is supported by my grandma even when he is wrong and we children are scared because he's our father, right. And he does not even wants to listen to reason. 

Family

I really wanted to know something about which i don't usually understand why i feel but i do . I don't have much friends and the reason behind this kind of situation is my upbringing . Never been too close to my dad as he used to work abroad and growing up in a women centric environment where my mom , grandmom and my aunts were there sometimes i feel like i am very far from the people of my age group. I wante to make friends but i can't , I wanted to roam but i can't , i wanted to explore but i can't . My dad is with me now but i can't talk to him because i just can't , i even don't usually listens to him but still am bounded by his ideologies. i don't get pocket money because we are already facing financial issues . i can't join a gym because i can't talk to him . i am lacking behind and i am being feeble day by day . 
  

Mental Health

I came to stay with my parents after a long time. My Dad and I never got along. My aunt and uncle don't think I am a good person. They keep praising my dad. I get it he is my dad and I should listen and all. But there are fundamental issues underlying he has cheated on my mom, I have seen him staring at women inappropriately, he has never shown respect for my hardwork in school and work. Even though I was always an exceptional student, my opinions in childhood were always laughed at, (anything from eco-friendly Ganpati, to asking for basic respect towards women, asking for help at home) however he is very good at communicating with his side relatives, he gives them much easier than I ever got for education. His thoughts align with his side relatives. 
I have always been perceived as a rebel, manner less daughter for speaking back at people. Recently I spoke back at my dad after he criticized new bride's facial features. (We had went to a wedding)

And I became a bad person for speaking back to him. My uncle and aunt were backing him up. The thing is I don't even live with these people anymore, I live abroad. And when it comes to my wedding I am gonna need these people on my side. They don't respect me I don't respect them. I don't know what am I going to do when I will want to get married. Also, I am tired of becoming a bad person. How would you behave going forward in such situation?

How do i keep fucking up everything........i gave him everything and it wasn't enough he still left and all he said was "my mom thinks your a bad influence" it wasn't even my idea i wasn't the one driving i wasn't drunk i wasn't the one who said lets drive without permits or license and skip class

Breakup

Hi, I am trying this for the first time so I would be really grateful to have someone genuinely answering/suggesting ways to handle it.

I got married in feb 2020 to an NRI and due to pandemic we had to stay apart for more than a year. During that time my father in law troubled me a lot by picking on petty issues and it used to turn into heated arguments. I hated that alot as I do have anger issues. Its hard for me to cope with it. Already stressed due to the circumstances outside and having no job I had to get through it. Until one day when my father in law got so furious at the most pettiest thing and he came on to hit me(almost)saying, "I will Kill you!"
Fortunately my mother in law and sister in law came and stopped him or I cant imagine what would have happened that day. I shared this with my husband and he didn't talk to his father for days. Till date my father in law hasn't apologized but for my own mental peace, I decided to forgive him. Things are okay with him now(at least seems to be), but I feel I am deeply scarred by it. I still get goosebumps when that night goes on like a flash in my mind over and over again. 
I have left the country 2 months ago and finally got to stay with my husband. And believe me, I prayed a LOT for this day to come. I am very grateful for being with my husband but since I have come here we already fought twice and while arguing I always come up with- "Please dont be like your father or this is not going to work between us" 
I lashed out on him on a petty issue and now I feel guilty for making him suffer for his father's mistake. 
Can someone please help me? HOW should I handle this?
I LOVE MY HUSBAND and I really dont want to hurt him. After all He is the answer to all my prayers.

My step dad is soo mean for no reason he started to blame me that I don't like poor people it's sooo weird that I didn't even did anything and why will I hate poor people?? They are humans too like me and they own respect too this poor,rich status in the society is just bullshit out of no where he randomly started to complain my mom I just... Why he wants to make me feel down for no reason I don't get it

It's frustrating when you try to be a good son for your father but whatever you do is not enough. It never was, no matter how hard I'm trying it's like I'm always doing something wrong but I can't think or understand what and it's killing me....
