What is better, lying about something so that it doesn’t hurt the other person or telling the truth even if you know it’ll hurt that person?
I think it is better to say the truth even of it might hurt, because one way or another, the truth will come out.

It happens quite often that the person who’s really close to me ends up lying about things just so that it doesn’t hurt me. And I tell him that I choose to get hurt than to find out the truth myself but it still repeats

It happens when trust someone so much and than one day you know about their lies and intentions look everyone wanted to see their own self happy sometimes they genuinely did mistakes but when everytime they did same things same lies understand that it is simple choice which they make and most lies said to uncover truth and look they hide it due to their own deeds but look you need to know that their is responsibility that you need to take care yourself so if their lies hurts you just make sure next times these things never happens or just stay away to these person look it is important for your own

Truth hurts, but so does a lie when discovered. If that person will come around to know you lied, then the pain will hurt even more than the truth could have. We must have the strength to face the truth. I did a mistake once but I learnt and corrected. Guess what? It actually helped 😀

If the person is well enough to take honesty, always do that otherwise in some cases just let it be than lying.

How he’ll accept and understand it rather than your way unless needed.
Truth is always ugly and bitter . But truth is truth . No matter what anybody thinks , truth will always come out . Always try to speak the truth . There can be exception , depending on the situation . But lying can make your life complicated.
True, I agree. And it is also important that the other person take that truth in a good way.
