it would be nice if someone would help me out, I really don't know what to do
recently, I have a lost a dear one, and in mourning ever since. I also started college this year and made a lot of new friends. then, when online classes started, I really did not talk to anyone much and only had contact with one friend. I usually text the other time to time so I would not loose contact. college reopened now and I feel that I've missed a lot of things and I'm feeling that I don't fit in. because of this, I'm having social anxiety, as not in fearing to approach them, but overthinking a lot. I think I'm not being included. I have also been suffering from depression. I thought that if I sulk and not approach people, I won't make friends, so I try to put a happy face, but now I'm struggling. it affecting my day to day activities and studies. please help me out.

I watched the movie - Badhaai Do. It's such a heart touching movie. My best friend of 18 years is asexual and I'm an ally for LGBTQ+ community. There was a message in that movie that many of us maybe overlooked. In the movie, Sumi's younger brother (21) also was discouraging of the fact that Sumi was homosexual. Which means not all Gen Z kids will be accepting of the community. The ostracism will go away but maybe after a few more generations. The process is gradual. There will be haters as well as allies. 
I will definitely recommend this movie.

Hi, I am in a very tough situation. One of the many issues I am facing  is loneliness. But I have a goal.It needs two years of dedicated effort. I am motivated to put that effort. But issue is:   "if I dont have people to be part of my success or failure, Why should I put any effort in trying to achieve the goal? Why not give up now itself? If I am trying to work on people it is effecting my effort on the goal."

So help me decide if I should try for the goal or not? If so why?

Also should I try not to think about friends/people at all during this two year period?

Life

Everything is destroyed between us the things that we once cherished for everything is gone now nothing is left except loneliness, she used to think before if the things which I am doing will it hurt this relationship or will it not but now she is just doing it without even giving it a second thought I'm tired of explaining her how I'm feeling by the things she is doing to me to this relationship but she is not getting at all she made me toxic she made me possesive she made me doubt her i was never that guy but she made me do it , when I'm asking her about things she is lying to me on my face I'm completely drained now, we decided to take a break it's been 17 days today I'm not feeling the urge to call her or mssge her I'm just not getting the feeling anymore now, it's not about love i do love her but i just can't be with her now i just hate her now, she has done so many things that ripped my heart out Today she called me and started to explain me what has happened why she did what she did it was nothing but she was just speaking nonsense at least I took it that way I'm 98 percent sure I don't want to be with her but the 2 percent i don't know what it is it's not going away.

Sometimes people don't value your words. So you should make an image where your value doesn't decrease. Because if the people doesn't value your words then I guess it's an indication that they don't value you.
