To all my people with control issues surrounding the people they care about, you have to understand that not only are you putting yourself in position of angst and anxiety, you are also projecting it on the people you love. The very act of keeping people close will backfire into making them uncomfortable and drive them away. I swear by this one saying,
If you love them , let them go. People thrive when they are given space for growth.
