This was such a beautiful game I just played: Old man’s journey. It was so beautifully made, unfortunately it was clearly created by a male dominant group of people. It did not pass the bechdel test, no surprise there, but it was also as closed off and undynamic as an old man. It urges you too feel something complex, ellicit a tear just like a man would, by implementing manipulation, as if there is something powerful about men acknowledging their faults and flaws. It didn’t evoke the emotions it should’ve in me because for this old man I felt no sympathy and I have no patience for people attempting to reform themselves. Still aesthetically a very pretty game.
