 There is this guy who hates his father so much. He never listens to his father. He prioritise his friends more than family. I mean I think this guy is so stupid his dad loves him so much all he wants is his son listen to him. I mean his father goes to work supporting family and taking care of him. Why can’t this person show some gratitude to his father. Who you choose prioritise first Family/ Friends...?

I think that he maybe have his own problems in his life thats why maybe in past his father hurt him really badly thats why he don't listen to him or its just he in wrong company or wrong track thats why he is like this

I know him his father is really a great person. This guy did so many mistakes.

Family of course...about this guy there's a saying u'll only know the value of ur eye when u become blind


3am Thoughts

Good evening to all, 

I really need a good suggestion in my behaviour. I hope any of you can help with it. 

I always replicate what my father does. If he shouts , I shout against him like an instant action. If it wasn't my father, any other known person, even when they say something wrong about me, I would like to understand their situation and explain them at the end. And I make sure to apologize if I'm wrong. 

But with my father, I'm not doing it. I'm just mirroring him. Not only in anger, in all other aspects also. 

After a few hours from shouting out to each other, he will start a conversation, and we act like nothing has happened and talk casually ( mirroring him: because he is calm now). 

I have seen myself that I act nervously when my father is in nervous. I'm doing it all the time. 

Anybody can help me with this.
 

Parenting

I hate living here. I often get told i am just an angsty teen or "no, he loves you!" But he doesnt. My father doesnt care about me. He keeps me fed and keeps a roof over my head but he doesnt care... why should he get brownie points for the literal legal requirements of being a parent, ill never understand. He is sexist and homopobic. He only talks to me whenever he needs something or whenever my grades are failing, he doesnt even bother pretedning to care about my interests, he ignores my mental health, he refuses to accept the way i dress (i prefer relatively masculine and gender neutral options) i feel as though i am talking to a brick wall when i mention these things. I am unwelcome and tired.  

Caregiver

my dad was an abusive asshole.he started to abused my mom when i was 3/2 and he started to hit me when i was around 10/9 i guess. theres one time when he hit my head on the door for 2 minutes straight bcs i sleep at 5 am.i cant sleep bcs i was too nervous for my school interview.and then he bang my head on the door 🤣

Child Abuse

I have failed many times in my 19 years of life. Those were minute
 failures - failing an exam, not being able to submit tasks on time, etc. I faced my biggest failure today. My dad drinks a lot. And there is no way to know what he wants to do - drink or sober up
When he drinks he calls My mother a wh●re or c**nt and abuses my sister and me. I stood up to that abúse. I fought back. He did not like that. He abûsed us more and more. So naturally, my sister and me stay outta home most of the day. 
Today I came home and my mom told me that I cannot stand up to the abùse done by my father, why? Because he is my 'father' and gave me everything. I wanted to cry. I was encouraging her to stand up to his bull crap,but she went ahead and rather told us to sustain the hurt. This was my biggest failure. Ever.



my father hates me. he never ever appreciates me or my work. all he does is find faults in me. EVERYTIME.

This maybe boring if you don't like reading long texts. I wanna un-bottled up.
When i was around 9 my family wasn't so great my father had drinking problem. My mom was sick of it and me my mom kind of left dad for about 2 years or so. During time when he was drinking my mom and father fight but my dad wasn't abusive nor he would curse when he gets drunk. In those days we were living with the mom's side of relatives. I often gets scolded about my dad's drinking problem by my aunts. Also at around 6 i didn't wanted to go to school but my aunt forced me to. As a kid i was afraid and then she hit with a really big wood relatively larger and heavier than 3 baseball bats. While i was getting hit and crying i looked over to my mother she was cooking in the kitchen. I asked for help but looked at me with a smile and ignored me. At around 9 my family got together we were living in harmony when my dad gets drunk he used to come to me and say how much he loves me and also does the same thing to mom. One day stray puppy was dying my dad looked after it and found a rubber band tied around its neck. He asked me if i did it.  I said no. He was suspicious but truly to this day i am not sure if i did it. It started hunting When i was 10.  As a silly kid i was doing silly things . One day i found 3 used batteries. I put wires and tapes at each ends and plugged in thinking it would charged the batteries ofcourse batteries exploded. Dad heard and hit me for doing such stupid act well i kinda deserved it but the moment he accused me killing a pup in the past.  I got mad and got traumatised. Now we live happily both my family and relatives.  But whenever i argue with a family member . I just ignore them or even sometimea i juts walk outta the house. I don't feel attached to anyone not even my parents. I kinda feel peaceful when i'm living alone except only problem is night anxiety.

Mental Illness

I grew up with a dad who never really was around and if he was we never talked for than 3 minutes. The only time that he did something for me was giving me his jacket to wear and I don't know if I'm just sad, angry, or something else but this jacket is like the only thing that makes me feel safe even for a few minutes. I'm angry and upset that he never really was a good dad and I don't know if I can even call him one but I just can't let it go. Maybe because it smells like him or it makes me feel like he actually cared about me for 5 minutes. Anyways I wear this jacket every single day and I always hear people saying I look homeless and stuff because his jacket is huge on me and in general I always look tired and stuff so i get it but it still hurts to hear. I don't know if its better for me to just not wear it anymore I just don't know anymore.
