My friend invited me to a baby shower who in gonna be in few months. I could not refuse her because I felt that is not polite as we are’friends’ but I dont feel respected. I called her today 2 times because I wanted to ask her opinion about something and she didn’t answer to my call and she doesn’t bother to text me at least to ask me why I called her. I once also called her and asked her to call me back and 3 days passed and she did not call but after I called her we talk only a bit and thats it. I always go to all her birthdays and so on but I dont feel appreciated. If I go to the baby shower I have to buy gifts and so on, and If I dont go she will think that I am bad but actually I dont feel respect when she is doing that so why I would go to her birthdays and baby shower when she calls me only if its convenient for her? What should I do in this situation?
