The other day in cooking, my teacher said “no matter what your parents are right”, she was a pretty chill teacher but after that thoughtless comment I def lost a good amount of respect for her. I mean it’s pretty naïve to say something like that… parents make mistakes they should never be considered perfect creatures doing everything they could for their young, I mean there’s a considerably good percentage of parents who def don’t want the best for their kids… and if you go deeper you could also say nobody will ever be so perfect in the eyes of others so nobody can ever be always right… I mean what’s right and wrong is different for everyone. plus with that statement if a parent hits their child for the sake of love are they still right?
