Try reading dan brown. My personal favourite was deception point. It doesn’t have Robert Langdon as the protagonist.
Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer.
Thousand Splendid Suns if you can read something heavy.
Hunger games is better dystopia than the divergent series.
I also enjoyed reading the game of thrones series. Whatever is written that is.
