Depression

To not have control over certain things really humbles you. Puts you in your place and let's you know you are not all that important in the grand scheme of things. Losing my pet cat Lily has made me realise what really matters in life. Living in the moment. Being present in every moment. Cause your loved ones can be taken away from you in an instant. Cherish and love them with all your might. That's all that matters. I will always feel guilty for the times I would be using my phone and she would come and try to bite the phone off my hand. If I would not give her attention, she would just sit next to me. Her leaving so suddenly will not go in vain. I will be more present in the moment with my loved ones and keep lily alive always in my memories and my conversations.
