So there was this guy, we started d7ating aeound november of 2019. We dated for aeoind 11 months and he was freaking great but I beoke up with him. Not because I didnt love him anymore but because quarantine was putting a lot of pressure on us and I got inside my own head. My mom is really strict so I was not allowed to see anyone, and he did not like to go on calls. So we broke up and a few months went by. Then this March I reached out to him, we talked and it was great so great. But we concluded that nothing had really changed, dating over text sucked and we had been dating for too long to convince our brains it was platonic. We agreed to stop talking. I asked him if it was a goodbye and he said it was more of a “until next time” we haven’t talked again, but he has has been liking all my posts which I’m not really sure means anything. But now things have changed we are soon to be vaccinated and my mom has let me hang out with some friends, and I really really want to reach out to him, but I’m not sure if it’s a great idea.

May be this is the time that he was talking about “until next time”. That you both wanted.
So ping him, get him.
But the advice is think twice will this relationship has future, will you both be able to stick to together till end, will you be able to tell your parents about each other, will your parents allow.
If yes, to ja simran ja, jee le apni zindgi.
If no, strictly don’t.
Also check if you really love him or is it just attraction.
So here is the thing, I am on a scholarship abroad, which means I might either do university here or in my home country, the future is really really uncertain under my feet and it freaks me out but there is still one year left. On the other thing I am sure that it’s love, or at the very least the closest thing I’ve experienced to it, he is someone I never expected to fall for but did.

So you mean to say it would be a long distance relationship?
Is it what you are saying and because of this it might not work out?
If so, distance never breaks bonds, none of the relationship( in general) is broken because of that. If its really love he will wait, and so you will.
Its just the doubts, communication gap, miss understanding that break it.
So think of it.
