So my man and I have been tossing around the whole wedding and ring idea for like years now and I’m still so scared off it. How do I know if I’m scared to be forever with him or scared of my own lack of commitment?? I’m down to counting yes days and no days right now so anything helps

Disability

Married mom of 2 toddlers. Husband has a successful career, i am restarting mine - working on my own startup. I have a solid background - all my education has been in Europe and US, settled in india, worked previously, took break with kids. husband has massive anger management issues ( screaming, shouting) and is constantly making me feel like the useless one - depending on him for money. I do everything around in the house, raising kids and simultaneously working on my startup. Its exhausting, frustrating. plus dealing with the emotional abuse. Eg- he used to drop our son to his play school in the morning , but has stopped. Reason- apparently i think he is mentally unstable ( background- 5 days ago while getting my daughter ready for school, she was getting a little late. he usually walks her to her bus and i do everything else - bfast bathing tiffin getting her ready. he started screaming and shouting about being 2 min late and daughter started crying, so i finally lost it and said you need psychotherapy. stop screaming. he is hanging on to it, not speaking, shouting when he gets a chance. also the hysterical shouting includes literal frothing at his mouth anger) . So now he is refusing to drop our son to school on his way to work- which i am doing now. apparently since i called him “mentally unstable, he is unable to help around. i said why are you punishing the kids -  he says becausr i am mentally unstable. AHe also said since i am a superwoman i should be able to handle everything alone. I am exhausted, getting anxiety attacks and this is affecting the kids. At the same time, I have to put in a 150% to make sure they feel the attention and love coming from atleast one parent. ( i have a 10 hr nanny for help, extremely grateful for that) It is affecting me massively. random tears. we have been married for a decade and its my fault that i have lived through this abusive behaviour hoping for some change. His anger scares me. I want to just focus on my kids and my startup. i dont see any future for me and him but for the sake of my kids i am willing to put up with living with him- as housemates.

I am extremely depressed and I am not in the best situation with myself or anyone in my personal life. I don’t know what to do/or how to get out of this toxic cycle I’m living in. It’s literally destroying my life and I’m lying to everyone about it because I don’t want to be judged😭

sometimes it gets the better of you. you've spent so much time with that person, that things, patterns remind you of them. And as strong as you may seem, they've broken you . and sometimes the hurt comes across and that's okay. i think i should be allowed to feel bad about things once in a blue moon.
