so my ex from 10+ years ago (2012/3 we were like 13 and now we’re 24) got dumped by the girl he left me for and is back now and he’s trying to be my friend & acting like nothing happened
i’m not mad at him or have any resentment BUT idk if i want to let him in my life again lol. i know he’s only back cause he got dumped. i doubt he actually genuinely wants to be my friend. idk what to do lol. HELPP!!!
also since we are in the same friend group i met this girl and was nice to her the whole time cause i’m not the jealous type lol i had nothing against her but like he saw all this happen & in turn SHE started being a little rude and distant toward MEE!!! lol. idk what to dddoooooo.
No need to be friends with him. Why do you wanna let that guy disrespect you again. I suggest you respect yourself enough and just shoo him away. Dont let him get close to you. Alsp whats the second paragraph about, its confusing.
oh second paragraph is basically me unsure if i want to let him back into my life like nothing happened (i don’t) but idk how to say no lol? like do i just ignore him? he spoke to me LOUD and made sure everyone heard so …. it would be rude to not respond he’s kinda putting me on the spot lol.
but yeah you’re right i dooo respect myself that’s why i haven’t really openly taken him back. cause even in our friend group he made me feel absolutely invisible like fine he didn’t have to like me but being rude was a conscious decision. so now i just gotta figure out how to turn him away lol
You dont have to be friends with him. Your friend group knows about you two right ? You dont have to be nice to that rude girl too. Simply put dont talk to them both. If he puts you in a spot again just ignore him or ask him to shut up . Remember theres no friendship once youre done with a relationship. Thats mentally draining on your part .
lol friend group doesn’t know about me and him because he said he wanted to keep me a secret and i was too young to see that as the red flag that it was but yeah ima keep my distance now
