Since I have started working, i have now been privy to workplace politics and everyday I just kind of think, how many more years I would have to work to finally gain a financial backbone to sustain all that i want coupled with all the responsibilities of adulthood. I feel so claustrophobic thinking about how financial insufficiency can keep you imprisoned in the mundane, no wonder people lose touch with themselves and work just to exist. This seems soo morose but i just feel that should not be an end result of employment. Or life.
I can’t even imagine being privy to workplace politics. Must be so annoying. “Work to exist” absolutely. So relatable.

It’s so difficult to not become corporate slaves given the circumstances. And an unhealthy environment makes it much worse to continue the monotony. I guess adulting is all about figuring out how to make it to the other side without giving in to the pressure.

FInancial independence is the need of the hour for women today! Just keep going and working hard. I understand that workplace politics must be bringing you down but it is important to not lose sight of your aim!
