3am Thoughts

I don't think being friends with ur ex is necessary 

Me and my ex have a LONg and complicated history. I recently left him because it felt like we just weren’t living on any similar kind of wavelength and our core values have changed too much. Even still, I can’t seem to accept it’s over. I used to vent to the people around me about all of the issues our relationship had and even about him (guaranteed some of it is deserved). We were together almost three years. I spent three birthdays with him. He helped shape me into who I am now. He saw me overcome addiction and fight for a better version of myself. It’s so sad that in the end we just weren’t vibing like that anymore. He still had interest in engaging in my problem behaviours and that HURT to watch. I look back on things now and I realise I wasn’t the most loving person and outright cruel at times, and he must’ve loved me so much for him to let that slide. I hope one day he realises the same for me. 
Now almost three months after the breakup I can’t get rid of his hoodies nor can I stop stalking his social media and getting hurt seeing him move on. I’m angry, I’m sad, I’m happy. It’s all such a mixed bag of things and I just hate going through this. 
I don’t exactly have very many people in my life at this very moment that I feel like I can entrust all of this to. My housemates are basically strangers, and although my parents care they still have some emotional tie to the situation so the words they offer aren’t always comforting. 
I’m taking myself back to therapy since there’s a massive array of other things cropping up too. I wish I could take a time out to catch up with myself and my emotions. 
The worst part about everything is I’m hardly a crier, even though I feel like I NEED to. My body just out right refuses. I’m tired of it. I want to shed the stupid necessity to seem strong. Maybe I am in some ways, but I feel so god damn tired of keeping a straight face. I saw a picture of myself from not even a few weeks ago and I can just see all of the sadness that’s behind my eyes but I just can’t seem to find the courage to let it out 

Relationships

I broke up with my boyfriend a year ago and we have had zero contact since 10 months. Meanwhile i used to talk to my senior, he was very supportive and sweet. I kind of fell for him but we haven't had any contact since last 6 months. Now that i see my ex enjoying in college, i feel bad. Moreover i have heard that he was after a girl, i felt more bad. Although i don't wanna get back with him, or ever talk to him or see him because he was very abusive (both physical and emotional) and toxic with me.

Overthinking

Sooo I’m going through a breakup. All my mentally unwell people HMU. I struggle a lot and I always make it known before entering a relationship that I have these struggles. They always say they won’t get tired and every time they do. I really really love him and it’s breaking me. I was sexually assaulted repeatedly as a child and it’s ruined me. I have control issues which is kind of expected and yet still I feel like he’s controlling my life. He’s caused me to lose so much. Now he’s caused me to lose the love of my life. I feel like he still has a grasp on me and I feel dirty and so helpless. What am I meant to do here? The only thing that stops these horrible thoughts is my bf, but I don’t have him anymore. 

Why let him in my thoughts hurt? I have had a crush on this guy for the past 9 months....He had a pretty bad breakup and he isn't looking for any relationship....But on the other hand I fell from him so hard, he is just the way I always thought of one for me...I can't let him go of my mind...And he is pretty much close to his best friend, who is in love with him....I barely talk to him....I tried various things to move on...but he is my classmate, every time I see him I just fall for him....His charm is something that gets me on cloud nine....but things are hurting me now...I should stop my feelings for him...I have to stop my obsession for him....He did mock me 1 or 2 in front of everyone....but again I am gonna cherish him my whole life....He was the one who taught me what the butterflies in the stomach mean, to believe in love....Ya letting him go is one of the worst and best decisions I can make for myself....I don't wanna be selfish and just think about myself...I just don't know what to do.....
