Scared. Scared to go back to my job and feel as though i do not belong. I am a hardworker, i want to give my all always but office culture is something i dont seem to be good at.

In professional space, you can’t really think of anyone as a friend unless they show you they wanna be friends. Many companies create teams that feel like family, but feeling the way you feel is also very common. Just ignore the noise, the politics - do your job well, even if it is not appreciated over there. Also find time to invest in self-learning & upskilling, even if ur current job managers do not support that. You gotta grow out of toxic work envs. There are a lot of jobs for exp folks and the labour market is still quite competitive (before the dreaded recession hits!) So make the best use of it. Apply to anything & everything you find relevant. It will take months and you learn thru the process. This is my lessons from months of job hunting that ended with me landing my exact dream job recently. You can do it too. Keep ur chin up & all the best! 😌😌😌

When i joined the job, it all looked so gloomy and good even when some people said, the overall scenario might not turn out to be good. In the end I have got the confirmation that all private jobs are one or all same for the same reason, lack of trust. In majority of the places, employees are just an employee and nothing else. Even asking for leave during diwali festival was something that company did not approve even when there was no emergency of any kind. I have lost the trust in them and now searching for a better alternative.

Yes it has happened with me…my thoughts are as much as possible, continue working with good work… communicate more with co workers, there will be few who will be jolly to speak with.
