I have a big house, pets to care for, pets who care for me...my partner, my girlfriend (I am a lesbian) loves me like anything...it's been so many years now with her...yet inside all I feel is anger and hurt. I do everything I am supposed to, and still feel life just passes me by.

We lost my wife’s brother to COVID in April this year. He left behind a one year old son, a young wife, parents, grandmother, and a younger sister. I have not been able to accept his death still; every night, my eyes get moist just thinking about how his death left a void in all our lives; how his son is completely oblivious to the fact that he will never see his father again; how his parents will spend the rest of their lives as a chore; how his wife will lose all that zeal she had to decorate her new home and life with her husband. Every little happiness that now comes in my life - it fails to make me grateful; how can I feel any happiness when so many lives got destroyed because of the virus? Kids got orphaned, people got widowed or lost their parents; the ones who left this World couldn’t live a full life; their loved ones who were left behind will never be able to feel true content in their lives. I don’t understand why God makes good people suffer; and that inability to understand his rules makes me feel helpless and hopeless. 

Loss

How do I stop myself from checking up someone on Instagram? I blocked them but there’s always an option of unblocking. I really wanna stop but I am unable to because seeing whatever I see isn’t doing me any good.
