Trust me when someone is irritated or angry and frustrated… 90% of the time it has nothing to do with you.
They are being troubled by their own thoughts and you are just a way of them getting their feelings out…
I know it’s very unhealthy.

Yes, be calm at that moment and let the other person out the feelings. Just listen then carefully sometimes they just want that to tell their story to someone and you are the one with whom.they can tell anything.
